It is important to note that there are different electrical safety requirements across State borders for the work defined as being done in the Construction Industry.
Examples of construction work are excavations, building (construction, maintenance and demolition of buildings), demolition and civil engineering.
All ATS technicians and electricians have completed the required nationally recognised Construction Industry OH&S Induction course (white card).

Quarterly testing of portable electrical appliances to be conducted by a licenced electrician OR a licenced electrical inspector OR a technician who has completed a structed training course and has been deemed competent in the use of a PAT and the conducting of visual inspections.
Monthly testing of RCD's to be conducted by a licenced electrician OR a technician who has completed a structed training course and has been deemed competent in the use of a RCD tester and the conducting of visual inspections.
NOTE - ATS technicians have been deemed as Competent in accordance with the details above and therefore are able to complete testing and tagging on Construction sites in Victoria.
