Megan Black
Megan Black established her ATS franchise with her husband Ken in 2007 in Canberra. Drawn to the professional standards of ATS and involvement with the local community, Megan and Ken operate their business as a family unit.
As local ATS franchisees in the ACT, Megan and Ken are passionate about promoting the awareness of electrical safety in the workplace.
Megan and Ken will provide you with advice on managing electric shock, electrocution and electrical fire hazards in the workplace through thorough inspection, testing and tagging of electrical appliances in accordance with the relevant standards for portable appliances, RCDs or safety switches, Microwave Radiation Leakage, and Exit Lighting.
As the eyes for their clients, Megan and Ken thoroughly check each appliance, and will provide ’tips’ and ’rule of thumb’ guidelines to empower staff to take an active role in their own electrical safety.

Hi Ken, I thought I would just send you a short email to thank you for your sterling efforts in donating your services to check and safety tag the electrical items we were able to offer for sale after contacting your firm. This is the first time in recent years that we have felt able to accept and sell secondhand donated electrical items in a garage sale. On the day we raised nearly $3000, including a much appreciated contribution from the electrical goods (awful though some were). The funds will go towards an existing Quaker Service Australia project constructing toilets in Cambodian villages suitable for use by handicapped people. This sounds, and is, small scale but it is the sort of project QSA does best, filling in after major donors have done larger scale work. Thank you again for your help.
