International Plugs
An item can pass testing and tagging to AS/NZS 3760:2010 with a non-Australian plug as long as the criteria of AS/NZS 3760:2010 and other Australian Standards are met.
There are numerous items in service (particularly at facilities with staff that travel internationally regularly) that are designed for use on 240V or multi-voltage supply but have an international plug attached to them. As long as the item is designed and certified for use with Australia?s 240V supply and comply to the Australian Standards then they can pass under AS/NZS 3760:2010 once all safety checks are completed.
